What operators ask before they switch.

How the AI receptionist actually handles calls, what counts as an emergency, real pricing and trial mechanics, integrations, and what we do with your data.

Getting Started
How does Catch My Calls work?
Catch My Calls gives your business an AI receptionist — Grace for Home Services, Vivian for Fleets, Margot for Restoration, or Diana for Property Management — who answers your calls 24/7. You forward your business line to the number we provision for you. The AI answers in two rings, captures caller details, triages emergencies, transfers urgent calls to your on-call person, and logs every call to your dashboard with a full transcript. Each morning at 7 a.m. ET you receive a briefing email summarizing overnight activity.
How do I get started?
Three steps: (1) Pick your plan at catch-my-calls.com/pricing.html — the 7-day free trial starts immediately, $0 charged today. (2) We configure your AI receptionist with your business details, services, and call-handling preferences. (3) Forward your business phone to the number we provide. Most shops are live within 24-48 hours of signup. See our call-forwarding setup guide for step-by-step instructions on every major carrier.
Do I need to change my business phone number?
No. You keep your existing number. You set up call forwarding from your current phone to the dedicated number we provision for you. Your customers dial the same number they always have. Forwarding is reversible any time — just dial *73 from your phone or toggle it in your dashboard.
How do I set up call forwarding?
Call forwarding is a standard feature on virtually every phone system. For most carriers, dial *72 followed by your Catch My Calls number. We have step-by-step instructions for 16 major carriers — AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Spectrum, Comcast, Cox, CenturyLink, RingCentral, Vonage, Google Voice, Ooma, Grasshopper, 8x8, Nextiva, and more. See the full setup guide or call (855) 718-5363 and your AI receptionist will walk you through it.
Can I try it before I commit?
Yes. The 7-day free trial is $0 charged today — we authorize your card at signup, first charge is Day 8 only if you continue. Cancel any time in Days 1-7 and the authorization is released; nothing is ever taken from your card. You can also call (855) 718-5363 right now to talk to Ava (our master receptionist) and hear the product live before signup.
How the AI handles calls
Who answers the phone?
Your solution line determines which persona picks up: Grace (Home Services — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, septic), Vivian (Fleets — fleet service shops, mobile mechanics, roadside), Margot (Restoration — water, fire, mold, biohazard), or Diana (Property Management — residential property management offices). Each persona is trained on the specific calls that line cannot afford to miss.
Will my callers know they're talking to AI?
The AI uses natural conversational technology and sounds professional. She introduces herself by name and handles conversations fluidly. Most callers experience a friendly, helpful receptionist who gets them the help they need quickly. We do not pretend to be human — if asked, the AI will confirm she's an AI receptionist.
Can I customize what the AI says?
Yes. You choose the greeting, the questions she asks, how she handles different call types, which situations trigger an emergency transfer, the on-call rotation, and the dispatch rules. Available on Growth and Enterprise plans (Starter ships with sensible defaults for your line). Your AI receptionist is tailored to your business.
What if the AI can't answer a caller's question?
If a caller asks something outside her training, the AI takes a detailed message with the caller's contact info and flags it for your review. She never guesses or fabricates information.
Can the AI handle calls in Spanish?
Bilingual support (English + Spanish) is available on Growth and Enterprise plans. The AI detects the caller's language and responds accordingly.
Emergencies & urgent calls
How does the AI handle emergency calls?
Each line has a default emergency trigger list: Home Services — burst pipe, gas leak, no heat <50°F, no A/C in extreme heat, electrical hazard, sewage backup. Fleets — stranded driver, derate/limp blocking dock, reefer-down with load, brake/air/fuel leak, HOS clock pressure. Restoration — active flow, active fire/smoke, sewage in occupied space, "still happening right now." Property Management — fire, gas, flood, sewage, no heat <50°F, no A/C >90°F, no water, electrical hazard, security breach, CO alarm, elevator entrapment. When the AI identifies an emergency, she captures critical details and warm-transfers the call to your designated on-call person in real time.
How does the AI decide what's an emergency?
Defaults are configured per solution line out of the box. You can override and customize during setup. We work with you to create a list of emergency keywords and scenarios specific to your business. For example, a plumber might flag "flooding," "burst pipe," and "no hot water"; an electrician might flag "sparking," "burning smell," and "power outage"; a property manager might flag "broken lock" and "CO alarm." Custom emergency keyword configuration is included on Enterprise plans.
What if I'm on a job and can't take an emergency transfer?
You can set up a transfer chain — if your primary on-call doesn't answer, the AI tries the next person on the list. If no one is available, she reassures the caller that the message is being escalated urgently and sends you an immediate text + email notification.
Pricing & billing
How much does Catch My Calls cost?
Three plans, all four lines: Starter $297/month (1,000 AI minutes, $0.99/min overage), Growth $547/month (2,000 minutes, $0.79/min overage), Enterprise $1,197/month (5,000 minutes, $0.59/min overage). Plus a one-time $199 setup fee on signup, and a 7-day free trial with $0 charged today. See full pricing →
What's actually included in the 7-day free trial?
The full product. Your AI receptionist, your dashboard, your number, your dispatching — exactly what a paid customer gets. We authorize your card at signup so we can charge on Day 8 if you continue. We do not take any money from your card during the 7 days. Cancel any time Days 1-7 and the authorization is released; nothing is ever taken from your card. One click from your dashboard, no phone call, no retention pitch.
What is the $199 setup fee for?
The one-time fee covers number provisioning, AI agent configuration for your solution line, custom prompts tailored to your business, and live onboarding with our team. It is charged on Day 8 alongside your first month's plan if you continue past the trial. If you cancel during the trial, the setup fee is not charged.
Am I charged for spam or robocalls?
The AI filters and identifies spam calls. They do not count against your plan minutes. You pay for real customer interactions, not junk.
Is there a long-term contract?
No long-term contracts. Catch My Calls is billed month-to-month. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time before your next billing cycle.
What ROI should I expect?
We frame this as industry math rather than guarantees: across home services, HMIP industry data (50,300 companies surveyed) shows the average HVAC business misses ~84 calls/month worth ~$10,148/mo in lost pipeline; plumbing averages ~96 missed calls/mo at ~$10,074/mo; electrical ~84/mo at ~$7,542/mo. Across restoration, industry sources show ~30% of calls go to voicemail and ~85% of voicemail callers hang up and dial the next contractor. The math is line-specific. A single captured emergency at typical $640-$2,000 ticket values usually covers more than a month of any plan.
Morning briefing & notifications
What is the morning briefing?
Every day at 7 a.m. ET, you receive an email summarizing everything that happened overnight — how many calls came in, what each caller needed, which calls were flagged as urgent, jobs captured, and any messages. It's like getting a full report from a night-shift receptionist before your first cup of coffee.
How will I be notified about calls during the day?
You receive real-time notifications for urgent calls and emergency transfers via text + email. Non-urgent messages and job details are captured in your dashboard and included in your daily briefing.
Can my whole team get notifications?
Yes. You can configure multiple team members to receive notifications, briefing emails, and emergency-transfer calls. On Growth and Enterprise plans, you can set up role-based routing so dispatchers, technicians, and office managers each see what's relevant to them.
Integrations & technical
Does it work with my existing phone system?
Yes. Catch My Calls works through standard call forwarding. It is compatible with landlines, cell phones, VoIP systems (RingCentral, Vonage, Grasshopper, Google Voice, 8x8, Nextiva, Ooma, and more), and virtually any business phone setup. No special hardware or software required. See the full carrier setup guide.
What if I want to answer some calls myself?
You have full control. Forward calls to the AI only after hours, only when you're on a job, or 24/7 — whatever fits your schedule. Dial *73 to stop forwarding when you want to handle calls directly, and *72 to resume. Or flip the toggle in your dashboard.
Can I use Catch My Calls for multiple locations?
Yes. Enterprise plans support multiple locations with separate call-handling rules, dispatch rosters, and service areas per location.
Can the AI handle property management's three-mode caller mix?
Yes — Diana is trained to triage tenant calls (maintenance / rent / complaint), prospect calls (leasing inquiry / vacancy), and owner calls (status / decisions) with different voice textures and routing rules. Tenants get empathetic-calm. Prospects get warm-enthusiastic. Owners get crisp-transactional.
Can Vivian capture vehicle and DOT details?
Yes. Vivian captures vehicle ID, fleet account, DOT number (for commercial fleets), location, and severity — structured and ready for your dispatcher. She also tells fleet accounts from single-vehicle callers and routes accordingly.
Does the AI know when to switch from calm to clinical?
Yes — Margot uses a two-mode voice. Distressed homeowner with active damage gets calm/empathy-first ("I'm so sorry, we've got you, crew on the way"). Adjuster, property manager, or insurance carrier gets clinical/transactional with industry vocabulary (Xactimate, EMS, Cat 1/2/3, AOB, ALE). Switch happens within five seconds based on opening phrase + background noise.
Privacy & security
Are calls recorded?
Yes. All calls are recorded and transcribed for quality assurance and your records. Callers are informed at the start of each call per state two-party-consent rules. You can listen to any recording and read transcripts through your dashboard.
How is my customer data protected?
We use encrypted storage for all call recordings, transcripts, and customer data. Your data is not shared with third parties for marketing. We follow industry-standard security practices.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your call data is used only to operate your AI receptionist and provide your dashboard / morning briefing. It is not used to train external AI models.
About Catch My Calls
Is the product actually proven, or is this a launch?
Catch My Calls has been built and tested in production for 8+ months, running live as ServiceLine247 across the home-services trades before we rebranded and expanded. Same engine, same dashboards, same morning briefing — now trained for four solution lines instead of one.
Why the rebrand?
ServiceLine247 described what we ran on — phone lines, 24/7. It did not describe what we do for the owner. "Catch My Calls" does. The first thing a shop owner asks isn't "do you have a phone line." It's "will my calls get answered." That's the name now.
Is roofing supported?
Roofing has moved to PowurDial — a separate sister brand for storm roofing, paintless dent repair, auto glass, and exterior trades. Catch My Calls covers Home Services, Fleets, Restoration, and Property Management.
